Course Overview

The Diploma of Commerce is a one year course which gives you the equivalent of the first year of a Bachelor of Commerce degree. International students who graduate from the Diploma of Commerce will be guaranteed direct entry into the second year of the Bachelor of Commerce at Curtin University. Small class sizes and extra tuition time ensure that you will be extremely well prepared for your degree studies.

Time Allocation 4 hrs per unit per week (usually 2 x 2hr sessions per unit), 4 units per semester
Prerequisites

Age prerequisite:
International students need to be at least 16 years of age as of the 1st January of the current year.

International Student English Competency Requirements
  • WACE English, WAUPP ELACS: 50%
  • WACE EALD: 55%
  • GCE 'O' Level English, 1119: C6
  • SPM English: C4
  • HKCEE English: Level 3
  • IELTS Overall Band Score: 6.0
  • TOEFL iBT 60; PTE 50; CAE 52
